Sales & Billing

1. What are the payment methods?

   You will have an option to select paypal or bank transfer as the payment method during the ordering process.

2. When will my service be ready?

   Our general turn around time is 24 hours or less after your order has been placed and verified.

3. When will I be billed for my service?

   You will be billed immediately after your order has been placed.

4. If I cancel my service do I get a refund?

   Yes, there is a 7 day money back guarantee if there is a hardware or service related problem. (Please note there is only one refund per customer). The 7 day money back guarantee does not apply to virtual private servers.

5. What is your cancellation policy?

   Cancellations can be made at any time during the service period and our terms and condition will be apply for each cancellation.

6. Do you have a reseller program?

   At this time we do not offer a reseller program.

Hardware & Software

1. What comes installed on my dedicated server or VPS?

   We do a standard installation of the Operating System and Control Panel (if you have chosen it during your order process) only. If you want additional software packages you will be responsible for installing this yourself.

2. Can I send you hardware to add to my dedicated server?

   No, we do not allow customers to add their own hardware to the dedicated servers. This can be done by ordering colocation services.

1. What is a VPS (Virtual Private Server) ?

   VPS stands for a Virtual Private Server. A virtual private server is a method of partitioning a physical server computer into multiple servers such that each has the appearance and capabilities of running on its own dedicated machine. Each virtual server can run its own full-fledged operating system, and each server can be independently rebooted.

2. What is a Dedicated Server ?

   In the web hosting industry, a dedicated server is usually defined as the rental and exclusive use of a computer that includes a web server, related software, and connection to the Internet, located on-site, within a web hosting company’s premises. In most cases, for compilation of related company web sites, that may develop a considerable amount of traffic, a dedicated server is usually needed. In many cases, the server may be configured and operated on a remote basis, independently located from the client company.

3. What does Colocation mean ?

   Colocation allows you to place your server machine in someone else’s rack and share their bandwidth as your own. It generally costs more than standard Web hosting, but less than a comparable amount of bandwidth into your place of business. Once you have a machine set up, you take it physically to the location of the colocation provider and install it in their rack or you rent a server machine from the colocation provider. That company then provides an IP, bandwidth, and power to your server. Once it’s up and running, you access it much like you would access a Web site on a hosting provider. The difference being that you own the hardware.

1. Do you offer 24/7 support?

   Yes, our regular support hours are Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm. After hours we have a technician on call for emergency support incidents.

2. Do you manage my server?

   Leo Technologies Ltd offers self managed dedicated servers and virtual private servers. We are responsible for the datacenter, the server hardware, any shared services, and the network the servers connect to. While we will make a best effort attempt to answer your questions regarding the operating system and any third party applications please keep the scope of our support in mind.

3. Can I reset my server remotely?

   Yes, if you ordered the remote reset feature you can reset your server online.

   We allow incoming or outgoing connections or services which connect to, provide support for, or operate within IRC.

   We have a zero tolerance for SPAM on our network. SPAM activity results in an immediate termination of service.
